Rice Krispy Whatchamacallits
These arenβt your traditional rice Krispy treatsβ¦they are WAY better.
This version of rice krispy treats will change your life. They arenβt your traditional rice Krispy treatsβ¦they are WAY better. We call these Whatchamacallits at my house but you can call them whatever you want. They are fast, easy and so delicious!
Rice Krispy Whatchamacallits
Yield: 1- 9βx13β dish
For the Whatchamacallits:
1 cup sugar
1 cup Karo syrup
1 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 pinch of salt
6 cups of rice Krispy cereal
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
Instructions
For the Rice Krispyβs:
1. In a large pot on medium heat combine the sugar & karo syrup. Mix well and bring to a boil.
2. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, salt and vanilla. Mix until peanut butter is melted and smooth.
3. Add rice Krispyβs and mix well.
4. Pour into a 9'βx13β baking dish and spread evenly.
5. In a microwave safe dish combine the chocolate & butterscotch chips and melt.
6. Spread evenly over the top of the rice Krispy mixture. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes until the chocolate sets up.
